The Meta Rift S is the successor to the Meta Rift Consumer Version 1 and impresses with many improvements and optimizations in terms of optics and tracking. Fast setup, tremendous result<\/h3>\n

All you need to do is download the VR software and install it on your PC or laptop. The Meta Rift S – similar to the HTC Vive Pro – uses the resources of the computer to which it is connected via USB. This makes it possible to display applications in very high resolution, which appear extremely realistic to the user. As long as the PC is well equipped in terms of hardware, it doesn’t matter whether an NVidia or an AMD graphics card is installed. Improved appearance – and not only from the outside<\/h3>\n

The inner optics of the glasses have been significantly improved compared to previous models. Thanks to state-of-the-art lenses and a brilliant display, even more intense colors and reduced grid effects can now be enjoyed. The single LCD display inside the glasses has a better resolution of 2,560\u00d71,440 pixels and presents your customers with content at a refresh rate of 80 Hz. This gives it a very large field of view for your VR experience. Of course, it also works as usual for eyeglass wearers. When you rent the Meta Rift S, you get a VR headset that is well-suited for every user.<\/p>\n

Compared to the predecessor models of the Meta glasses, which were equipped with OLED displays, VR glasses with LCD displays benefit from shorter switching times from very bright content (Godrays) to dark content. The “eating in” of light image components into dark content (black-smearing) is therefore also no longer present.<\/p>\n

Dynamic design<\/h3>\n

However, there have also been some changes in the external appearance. The design has been optimized, making it more comfortable to wear for long VR sessions. Thanks to the new ergonomic headband, the headset sits better on the head, does not become loose even during fast movements and holds well without pinching. You can rent the Meta Rift S and test the wearing comfort during your VR experiences yourself. The virtual reality headset can be easily and quickly attached to the head with just one turn of the adjustment dial. This reduces the risk of the glasses falling off and ensures a secure feeling for the wearer.<\/p>\n

With intuitive control and improved motion tracking of the two Meta Touch controllers, the user’s movements can be transferred precisely into the world of virtual reality. In contrast to the Meta Quest, the Meta Rift S is also equipped with additional sensors and cameras in the headset housing. These are used to scan the player’s surroundings and thus replace the previous sensors, which first have to be set up in the room. In combination with the headset’s integrated surround sound, the clear audio ensures maximum immersion in the game.<\/p>\n
