Sharp, bright and large. Everything a display needs to be able to do – with the support of new technologies
When it comes to the display, the iPad Pro 2021 has big news in terms of screen technology, even bigger innovations compared to its predecessor than the iPad Pro releases of recent years. Apple still refers to the display of the 2021 iPad Pro as an XDR (Extreme Dynamic Range) Liquid Retina Display. This still stands for an extremely high contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1. Other display factors such as brightness with peak values of 1,000 nits to 1,600 nits and modern display technologies such as Apple’s large P3 color space, ProMotion with 120 Hz refresh rate and True Tone make all content on the display of the iPad Pro 2021 a real treat for the eyes, especially in the large 12.9″ version. In addition to these familiar display attributes from Apple, there is another special innovation in the display of the 2021 models: over 10,000 mini LEDs are spread across the back of the new iPad Pro 12.9 inch display. This is the only way to achieve the high brightness values. Small groups of these mini LEDs combine to form over 2,500 so-called local dimming zones, the brightness of which can be adjusted separately and precisely. This is how the strong contrast ratio is achieved. These features have a particularly positive effect on HDR content with lots of specular highlights. When you rent a new iPad Pro 2021 12.9 inch, you can be sure that you will always be able to present your content in the best light and in the best quality.
The new M1 chip: Combines power and efficiency more than ever before
The iPad Pro 2021 relies on a processor from Apple that is worthy of the name. It is called Apple M1 and has been used since the end of 2020 in various Apple devices, such as the MacBook Air of the 4th generation, in the Mac mini of the 5th generation, in the MacBook Pro with 13 inch display and of course in the iPad Pro of the 5th generation installed. The Apple M1 is a system-on-a-chip, just like the previous A12 and A13 chips from Apple. The M1 in the iPad Pro 2021 12.9 inch consists of an 8-core CPU for computing power, an 8-core GPU for graphics performance and a 16-core neural engine for machine learning and AI-based processes and applications. However, the M1 is Apple’s first processor based on the Arm architecture. This allows the 8 CPU cores within a processor to be divided into different types of cores. This means that Apple’s M1 has 4 energy efficiency cores (Icestorm) and 4 high-performance cores (Firestorm). This promises even greater energy efficiency and thus also more battery life. In addition, the M1 also has 50% faster CPU performance and 40% faster graphics than its predecessor. When you rent a iPad Pro 2021 12.9 inch, you won’t run out of battery or power too quickly for any professional applications.
The Pro camera system: Proven hardware, enhanced with new software
On the hardware side, not too much has changed in the camera of the new iPad Pro 12.9 inch as in the other areas of the device. That’s why the 5th generation of Apple’s Pro iPads still relies on the proven Pro camera system, which was already installed in the iPad Pro 2020 models and iPhones such as the iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone 11 Pro and also the iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone 12 Pro. In the iPad Pro 2021, this consists of a wide-angle camera with 12 MP and an ultra-wide-angle camera with 10 MP. This makes it possible to set up a multi-camera rig, for example. Thanks to the more powerful ISP (Image Signal Processor), which is also located on the M1 chip, the new iPad Pro 2021 can also take pictures with Smart HDR 3. In addition to a microphone and flash, the LiDAR scanner is also located on the camera elevation. As with the Pro cameras of the older devices, the new iPad Pro 2021 also measures how long it takes light to be reflected by objects. This allows the depth of the filmed space to be measured, enabling precise AR applications. The front camera also has a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle camera. It supports a field of view of 120 degrees° and has also been given an advanced software innovation. With the follow mode and the 120° ultra-wide-angle front camera in combination with machine learning, the camera can automatically track people so that they always remain in the picture. Rent the iPad Pro 2021 12.9 inch now – and be perfectly prepared for any video conference.
Upgrade the iPad Pro 2021 12.9 inch – With powerful accessories and many functions for PC replacement
As you would expect from Apple, when you rent the iPad Pro 2021 12.9 inch, you will not be disappointed by the range and usefulness of the accessories. The 2 most popular add-ons for any iPad Pro are the Apple Magic Keyboard and the Apple Magic Pencil. The well-known Magic Keyboard stylishly and slimly extends the iPad with a fully-fledged keyboard with integrated trackpad. Last but not least, it still serves as a stylish case with magnetic closure. With this extension you can work with the iPadOS in a completely new way, the iPad can be operated like a laptop, while it remains slim and handy. It also gives the iPad a floating appearance. The keys of the Magic Keyboard are also able to light up, which provides an additional, visually high-quality touch. The Apple Pencil is an indispensable tool for all draughtsmen, illustrators, artists or people who also want to do graphic work on their iPad Pro. Thanks to the Pencil’s tilt and pressure sensitivity, drawing and painting is possible with near-realistic accuracy. Intuitive controls and the likewise magnetic attachment round off the pen’s range of functions.
Top-class connectivity with 5G support, fast Wi-Fi 6 and Thunderbolt – iPad Pro 2021 12.9 inch rental
You won’t be disappointed when it comes to connectivity either if you rent the iPad Pro 2021 12.9 inch. Like the most recently released iPhones, the iPad Pro from 2021 supports 5G mobile connections. While this is a matter of course with a smartphone, Apple is deliberately making the iPad a mobile companion with 5G support, so that you are also in good hands when you are on the move. With the speeds that are possible with a 5G connection, movies or music can be streamed and files can be uploaded and downloaded with ease and without waiting or interruptions. According to Apple, the iPad Pro also has the most 5G bands of any device of its kind, for 5G reception in even more places. WLAN 6 guarantees that the iPad always establishes the fastest connection available, even in WLAN networks. The Thunderbolt port of the 2021 iPad Pro offers a bandwidth of up to 40 Gbit/s for cable connections and is also compatible with USB-C plugs again. This enables the use of high-performance accessories with the iPad, such as external displays, hard drives and docks. You can of course rent SIM cards for the iPad Pro 2021 12.9 inch from us.
