TV Rental – Flexible TV Solutions for Events, Presentations, and Temporary Use
Whether it’s a trade show, corporate event, conference, or temporary use in the office: It doesn’t always make sense to buy a TV if you only need it for a specific period of time. At get-IT-easy, you can take TVs on rental for exactly the duration you need—from a single day up to several months. This way, your costs remain predictable, you don’t tie up capital in hardware, and you still get a ready-to-use device that fits your project.
We primarily rent TVs to business customers, agencies, event organizers, educational institutions, and public organizations. Unlike traditional TV rental services for private households, our focus is on temporary, project-based rentals. We also accommodate requests from private individuals and companies based abroad that need a TV for use in Germany. The entire process—from device selection and configuration to return—is tailored to your specific needs.
Which TV is right for your needs?
The right screen size depends primarily on the room, the viewing distance, and the intended use. To give you a general idea of which TV size is appropriate in different situations, the following overview lists typical use cases:
| Screen Size |
Typical viewing distance |
Recommended Use |
| 55 inches |
approx. 2–3 m |
Meeting rooms, smaller reception areas, presentations in compact settings |
| 65 inches |
approx. 2.5–4 m |
Meeting rooms, training sessions, information points, medium-sized booth spaces |
| 75 inches |
approx. 3–5 m |
Exhibition booths, events, large presentation areas, reception areas |
| 86 inches and larger |
4 m and up |
Stages, roadshows, large-scale events, displays visible from a distance |
Not sure which size is best for your space? When selecting equipment, we take into account the location, room size, number of users, and the desired content. This helps you avoid choosing a screen that’s too small for the room or unnecessarily large and expensive. For more compact applications, a monitor may also be the right choice. There is rental of additional sizes and formats in our Display category.
LED, QLED, OLED, and 4K: Which Technology Is Best for Which Application?
The display technology determines whether your content remains visible even under challenging lighting conditions. For most business applications, a standard LED TV is sufficient. In brightly lit exhibition halls and lobbies, QLED showcases its brightness advantage, while in dimly lit rooms, OLED delivers higher contrast. We’ll clarify which devices we currently have in stock when you submit your request—if needed, we can procure a specific technology tailored to your timeframe.
| Technology |
Properties and Applications |
| LED (LCD TV) |
A proven standard with uniform illumination. For presentations, training sessions, information screens, and office use. |
| QLED |
Higher peak brightness, richer colors. For trade show booths, lobbies, and rooms with natural light. |
| OLED |
Deep black, very high contrast, wide viewing angle. For darkened rooms, showrooms, and video content rich in detail. |
Full HD or 4K—When Is a Higher Resolution Worth It?
Full HD (1,920 × 1,080 pixels) is more than sufficient for video footage, program segments, and presentation slides. 4K UHD (3,840 × 2,160 pixels) becomes relevant at screen sizes of about 65 inches and up, and when viewers stand closer than two meters to the screen—such as at a trade show booth where visitors stand directly in front of the display to read data sheets, engineering drawings, or text slides. For displays viewed from four meters or more away, the resolution is practically indistinguishable; in these cases, screen diagonal size is what matters.
What Matters Beyond Technology
- Connections: All flat-screen TVs in our product line can be connected via HDMI. Upon request, we’ll include the appropriate HDMI cables and adapters so that you can connect your laptop, media player, or conference system directly.
- Continuous Operation: For screens that run continuously for several days, we tailor the choice of equipment and preconfiguration accordingly.
- Orientation: Portrait orientation is only practical if a suitable mount is used. For permanent vertical installations, a digital display column is usually the better solution.

Typical Use Cases for a Rental TV
Renting a TV is always a good idea when you need high-quality picture quality only temporarily or for a specific project. Some of the most common occasions include:
- Trade Shows and Exhibitions: Eye-catching displays of product videos, presentations, or live demos at the booth—covered in detail in the section on trade shows below.
- Corporate events and conferences: large-format displays of program items, presentations, or welcome messages.
- Training sessions and workshops: clear and visible presentation of content for participant groups.
- Reception and waiting areas: temporary information screens for visitors or customers.
- Roadshows and Promotions: Mobile events at various locations.
- Public Viewing and Live Broadcasts: Sports broadcasts and streams for small groups of viewers.
- Internal projects and tests: temporary setup of workstations or test environments.
Because every project is different, we don’t offer rigid rental packages. You can choose the equipment, rental period, and accessories to suit your specific needs. You’ll also find helpful tips for meeting rooms in our guide to the best TVs for meeting rooms.
Rental TVs for Trade Shows and Booths
A TV for a trade show booth must do two things: stand out from the center of the aisle and remain legible from a distance of one meter. For booth spaces up to about 20 square meters, a 75-inch TV has proven effective; for larger spaces and head-of-booth setups, a large-screen 86-inch TV is recommended. A 55-inch TV is usually sufficient as a secondary screen at the counter or in the booth’s meeting area. So when considering a TV rental for a trade show, don’t base your screen size choice on your budget—base it on the viewing distance at the booth. Our article on the role of TVs at trade shows and events explains how to use displays effectively at your booth.
What Else You Need at Trade Shows Besides the Device
- Setup: A floor stand allows you to set up the display independently of the booth walls and can still be repositioned on the day of setup. For mounting on existing booth walls, we include wall mounts.
- Theft Protection: Trade show booths are only secured to a limited extent overnight. For areas that are freely accessible, we recommend theft protection and, optionally, equipment insurance.
- Preconfiguration: To ensure that no time is wasted during setup, we can configure the device in advance upon request—for example, to automatically play a fixed content loop after it is turned on.
- Quantities: We will coordinate the rental of multiple identical units for video wall setups or multi-booth events together, including delivery and pickup dates.
Delivery directly to the convention center
You don’t have to order the TV to your company’s headquarters and transport it to the trade show yourself: We’ll deliver it directly to the trade show venue, timed to fit your setup window. After dismantling, we’ll arrange for pickup. We deliver to all major German trade show venues, including Frankfurt, Munich, Cologne, Düsseldorf, Hanover, Nuremberg, Berlin, Stuttgart, Leipzig, and Hamburg.
Rental Period Around the Trade Show Dates
Trade shows rarely last longer than a week, so purchasing a display for this purpose is almost never cost-effective. With us, rentals start at one day; it’s a good idea to factor in the days for setup and takedown so that the equipment is tested and ready before the first day of the show. Upon request, we can also handle on-site setup, so that the screen is already up and running and loaded with your content when you arrive at your booth.
Public Viewing and Live Broadcasts
For public viewings, sports broadcasts, and live streams in a corporate setting, renting TVs is the right choice when the audience is manageable and the venue is covered or indoors. As a general guideline: A 75- or 86-inch TV provides a clear line of sight for about 30 to 50 people; for larger audiences, it’s better to use multiple screens in different locations rather than a single TV.
Outdoor Boundaries
Standard televisions are not designed for direct sunlight or exposure to moisture. In the shade, under a canopy, inside a tent, or after dusk, they provide a clearly visible image—but not in daylight in an open area. For such scenarios, a projector with a shaded area or a display specifically designed for outdoor use is the more suitable solution. Please consult with us about your specific scenario before deciding on a technology—an ill-chosen solution will be immediately noticeable during a public viewing event.
Broadcasting and Transmission Rights
You provide the video source: a laptop, streaming stick, receiver, or an encoder for live signals, connected via HDMI. We’ll ensure that the device has the necessary inputs and that the cables are included. Please note that the public broadcast of sports events, movies, and music requires separate rights. Licensing with rights holders and collecting societies is the responsibility of the event organizer and is not included in the equipment rental—we are pointing this out so that this detail is not overlooked in your planning.
Rental period: one day or more
Rentals start as short as one day—so you don’t have to book a full month if you only need a TV for a weekend event or a three-day trade show. Longer rental periods spanning several weeks or months are also available. If it becomes apparent that you’ll need the TV longer than planned, an extension is often possible, provided the unit is available. It’s best to let us know about your request for an extension as early as possible so we can ensure availability.
Accessories and Additional Services
To ensure that the TV works right away at the installation site, we can provide the appropriate accessories upon request. Depending on the application, this may include:
If you need additional displays—such as monitors, touchscreens, or a projector —we can easily expand your request to include these items. This way, you can get all the equipment you need for your project from a single source.
A Custom Quote Instead of a Fixed Price
The rental price for a television depends on several factors, which is why we always provide you with a quote tailored to your needs rather than a flat rate. Our calculation takes into account, among other things:
- Device model and screen size
- Quantity
- Lease Term
- Desired accessories
- Delivery Method and Delivery Time Window
- Preconfiguration
- optional insurance
- Additional services such as on-site support or setup
The starting prices you see elsewhere are for general guidance only. The actual price will be determined based on your specific inquiry.

Shipping and Returns Within Germany
We ship available units via express or overnight delivery within Germany to ensure the TV is ready in time for your event. In addition to regular delivery addresses, we also deliver directly to event venues and convention centers. For large quantities or extensive pre-configuration, we’ll coordinate the process with you on a case-by-case basis. Unless otherwise agreed, delivery and pickup are included in the shipping costs.
For returns, we provide return shipping labels and arrange for pickup. All you have to do is pack the device securely for transport—we’ll provide the shipping boxes. We use reusable, secure boxes instead of plastic wrap to make shipping as eco-friendly as possible. Read more about how renting equipment conserves resources on our blog.
Equipment Condition, Data Security, and Insurance
Every TV is inspected, cleaned, and prepared for use before shipping. Since these are rental units, they may show slight signs of wear—the priority is flawless technical performance and reliable operation.
After each return, we remove any existing data from the devices. For projects involving sensitive content or subject to strict data protection requirements, certified data erasure is available upon request.
You have the option to purchase additional insurance that covers damage and theft, among other things. If a defect or damage occurs, please notify us immediately. In the event of theft, report the incident to the police; we will need the police report for further processing.
