Thanks to a number of improvements in wearing comfort, the new HoloLens generation can be used for longer sessions. The computer of the AR glasses is now installed at the back of the head – in contrast to the previous model, where the PC was located on the forehead. This ensures that the weight of the HoloLens 2 is better distributed. The built-in computer has WLAN access. That’s why you can access all services that require the Internet quickly and anywhere, without being disturbed by cables. The weight has also been reduced so that the new device weighs only 566g.
The wheel at the back of the head allows the Mixed Reality Glasses to be adjusted to any head shape, and people who wear glasses can also use the device. With the new design, you can easily work with the HoloLens 2 for hours on end. You can easily try out the new technology by renting the HoloLens 2. If you want to use the goggles at trade fairs or VR events, it is recommended that you also use disposable masks.
Not only has the wearing comfort been improved by Microsoft, the controls have also been revised. Touching, gripping and moving – it all feels much more intuitive now. Thanks to the improved hand tracking, no controller is required and you control the device solely with your fingers. In addition to this method, the HoloLens 2 also features eye tracking, which works in real time. For example, the iris scanner unlocks the device with your eyes only.
When you rent the HoloLens 2, you have the option of integrating three-dimensional projections into your environment, which can be enhanced with graphical representations, texts or 3D elements if desired. This allows you to easily visualize your data and information and present the content to others. Voice control is also supported with the help of five built-in microphones.
The field of view of the display has also grown. With 43 degrees horizontally and 17 degrees vertically, the HoloLens 2’s field of view is twice as large as the first generation. Nevertheless, Microsoft’s mixed reality glasses offer a resolution of 2K per eye, which corresponds to a pixel density of 47 pixels per degree. Rent the HoloLens 2 now.
The big difference to virtual reality glasses such as the Meta Rift S is that with an AR headset, the human field of vision is not completely replaced by digital representations. Only virtual objects are inserted into the real world. Thus, your environment will be enriched by three-dimensional objects. The sensors measure the pupil distance, for example, for optimal display. Thanks to USB-C, it is possible to get the HoloLens 2 up and running again within a very short time by charging it quickly and using it several times a day.

The appliances are delivered to your desired location by 12 noon at the latest on the first day of rental. Delivery takes place in sealed reusable transport boxes, so that there is hardly any effort involved in returning the equipment. We will arrange collection and agree a time slot with you before, during or at the end of the rental period.
If you rent tablets, Apple TVs or laptops, these are insured against theft by the rental company. In the event of an insured event, the renter bears an excess of 50% of the current replacement costs per device. Excluded from the insurance are TVs, smartphones, VR and AR glasses and accessories.
You can rent the equipment for as little as one day. Only the days on site count. Of course, you can also rent all rental equipment for a month or for several months. On request, we will also be happy to advise you on leasing or purchasing the equipment at the end of the rental period.
Are you renting the equipment as part of a registered company, association or similar? Unlike when renting for private purposes, we waive the deposit before delivery. This means even less complicated processing for you! As soon as you sign our offer in response to your rental request, the rental equipment will be sent to you on the agreed date.
