Rental of a Pimax 8K VR Headset for Immersive PC VR Experiences
The first VR headset with 8K resolution—now available for rental exclusively at get-IT-easy. Rent the Pimax 8K and experience or showcase virtual reality gaming in a whole new way. We also offer many other products that let you experience virtual reality. There is a rental option for a wide variety of VR headsets, including additional Pimax and Pico models. This type of VR headset requires a computer to operate. We also carry other PC VR headsets in our selection.
If you’re looking to rent a Pimax 8K VR headset, you’re likely searching for a highly immersive PC VR headset with high resolution and a wide field of view. The Pimax 8K is designed for applications where a wider field of view and a highly detailed visual experience are more important than a particularly compact or wireless setup.
At get-IT-easy, companies have the option of renting the Pimax 8K and using it for simulations, product presentations, gaming demos, research projects, or high-quality VR experiences. Since this is a PC-based VR headset, the appropriate computer should be factored into the planning from the start.
Experience virtual reality in a whole new light—with 8K resolution
The first VR headset with 8K resolution
Say goodbye to blurry and pixelated virtual reality experiences. The former Kickstarter project “Pimax 8K” has now established itself on the market, and there is also a rental option for this spectacular device at get-IT-easy. These high-end VR headsets feature two screens, each with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels—for a total of 7680 x 2160 pixels and a pixel density of 806 PPI. This ensures an incredible, crystal-clear image while enjoying VR content. The Pimax 8K’s 8K resolution currently outperforms any 5K competitor on the market. The field of view—that is, the range of vision offered in virtual reality—is also twice as large as that of most VR headsets currently available on the market.
Thanks to its design—which also gives it its futuristic look—the Pimax 8K is able to offer users a 200° field of view. This provides a much higher level of immersion than ever before. At get-IT-easy, there is a rental option for the Pimax 8K, allowing you to impress your customers with 8K content.
What does “8K VR” mean in the context of the Pimax 8K?
In the case of the Pimax 8K, the term “8K VR” refers to the high combined display resolution of the VR headset. The Pimax 8K uses high-resolution panels and upscales the input signal for display in the headset. This results in a significantly sharper image than that of many traditional VR headsets with lower resolution.
It’s important to clarify this distinction: The Pimax 8K is not a traditional 8K UHD display like a TV, but rather a VR headset with two displays and a resolution distribution per eye typical of VR. For users, what really matters in practice is how sharp the image appears in the headset, how much the screen-door effect is reduced, and how large the usable field of view is.
Pimax 8K rental – Virtual Reality Headset with CLPL Display
The Pimax 8K is not only the first VR headset with an 8K screen, but also the first to use a display technology different from those used so far. During development, the team chose not to use the standard OLED technology found in most VR headsets from other manufacturers. Instead, a new technology specifically for virtual reality was developed and immediately patented. The so-called CLPL display offers several advantages over conventional OLED and LCD displays. For example, a “Custom Low Persistence Liquid” display provides a higher refresh rate and a shorter response time. Typical VR issues, such as ghosting, are also a thing of the past with a CLPL display. The high pixel density of 806 PPI is also thanks to the CLPL technology. Futuristic Design—Inside and Out on the Pimax 8K
The Pimax 8K has a level of brand recognition unmatched by any other headset. This is due to the unique and futuristic, modern design of the headset and its housing. Despite its larger dimensions, the Pimax 8K is by no means heavier than well-known models from HTC, Oculus, and others. This is because the housing is made largely of ultralight plastic. The points where the headset contacts the face are padded with comfortable foam, ensuring a high level of comfort and a precise fit. The lens distance can also be easily adjusted as usual using a small dial on the VR headset. We offer rental of the Pimax 8K, which can become a futuristic showstopper at your next trade show booth.
Wide-ranging compatibility and combination options
With the Pimax 8K, any content can be played on the VR headset. The operating system offers a wide range of features and is compatible with a variety of other software and hardware, such as controllers from other VR headsets. For example, the VR headset can be used to play Steam VR content—in 8K resolution. But the headset can also play any other current mainstream content in VR. Of course, this also means that the Pimax 8K cannot be used on the go, unlike, for example, a Pico G2 with 4K. Just like the HTC Vive, Vive Pro, or HTC Cosmos, this new 8K VR headset must be equipped with the necessary GB of RAM and VRAM—and this requires a powerful computer.
But the Pimax 8K is also highly versatile when used with other hardware. Accessories such as touch controllers from newer generations of VR headsets, tracking devices, carrying straps, and the headset itself can be used with the Pimax 8K alongside many other VR headsets. This makes it easy to personalize and optimize your VR experience. For the Pimax 8K, there is a rental option available now, allowing you to explore the next level of virtual reality.
